Can you fix my iPod?

There is a very good chance we can fix your iPod. If you include in your email to us what model iPod you have and what problems you are experiencing, we can better help you.

I dropped my iPod in water, can you fix it?

Water is an iPod's worst enemy. It can damage multiple components which may cost more to repair than buying a new iPod. Without opening it up, we can't tell you if it is salvageable or not. If you do get your iPod wet, see our self-help section for more info.

My iPod doesn't turn on when I plug it into the computer. What do I do?

If your iPod is not turning on at all when you plug it in to your computer, we recommend you first try a different cord and possibly a different computer. Faulty cords or USB ports are often the cause and are a cheap fix. If you do not have access to a different cord or computer, you may send it to us for testing.

Can I swap out my black and white LCD for a color LCD?

Unfortunately, the LCDs and logic boards are not compatible so there is no way to upgrade a black and white iPod to color.

Do you repair cell phones?

Yes! Although cell phone repair is not currently listed on the site, we do repair them. We do not currently stock cell phone parts but we are able to get parts for most popular cell phones.

Do you repair other electronics?

Yes! Although other electronics are not listed on the site, we do repair many other devices. If we are able to get the necessary parts, we will repair it. Send us an email including what device you have and what the problem is and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

How long will the repair take?

If we have the required part in stock, most repairs are done the same day we receive the device. If the part is not in stock, it typically takes about a week for the part to arrive. We strive to finish the repair and return your device as soon as possible.

Will my songs and other data be erased?

In most cases, your data will be safe. If you are having a hard drive or logic board replaced, you will most likely lose your data. Regardless of the repair you are having done, you should back up all data prior to giving us your iPod. In the unlikely case of unexpected data loss, we take no responsibility.

Will your services void my warranty?

Opening up almost any electronic device will void its warranty. Whether it will be possible to tell that is has been opened is hard to determine. If you still have a warranty, we recommend you first try to have it repaired through the warranty.

What do you charge to look at my iPod?

There is no charge to look at your iPod! You will not be charged a dime unless you agree to have a repair done. All diagnostics are complimentary.

When is payment due?

No payment is due until the repair is complete. Once the repair is complete, we will notify you and will return your iPod as soon as the payment clears.

How can I pay for the repair?

We accept Pay Pal and checks. If you pay via check your ipod will be returned once the check clears. If you are on Kauai, we will also accept cash.

How do I get my iPod to you?

If your are from an outer island, you may ship your item to us. If on Kauai, you may either mail it to us or arrange to drop it off. If mailing your iPod, please package it carefully to ensure it is not damaged further in the mail. Contact us for a mailing address.

What should I include with my iPod when I send it to you?

Please include your full name, phone number, email address, and return address. Unless otherwise asked, do not send anything other than your iPod. Do not send the box it came in, cords, or any other material.

Who pays for shipping?

You are responsible for the cost of shipping your iPod to us. Return shipping is free.

Do you buy broken iPods?

Yes, we will buy almost all broken iPods. Due to the wide range of iPods and level of damage they may have, we ask that you email us with a description of what model of iPod you have and what is wrong with it. We can then make you an initial offer. After we receive your iPod, we can confirm what we will pay.

Do you sell parts?

Yes, if you would rather complete the repair yourself, we can sell you any of the parts you need. Contact us for more information and pricing.
